| The Emsworth Museum, opened in1988, has a section of the area's history
displayed in articles, books, pictures and clothing, with displays devoted
to the old sea-faring families, and to the author P.G.Wodehouse who lived
in Emsworth and incorporated several local names into his books. The Emsworth Museum is open every weekend and Bank Holiday between Easter and the end of October, as well as Fridays in August. Opening times; Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holidays 10.30am to 4.30pm. Sundays 2.30 to 4.30pm. The Museum is located above the Fire Station in North Street. |
